The Creek

Part of our dream was to have hunting land, a creek, and a place to have a vineyard and a garden. Our place did just that. Although the creek isn't deep enough to catch eating size fish, it is big enough to play in. I know for a fact it has some deep spots that will go over the top of my boots!

 This is Florida Anise. Deer don't love it, but it smells sweet when the leaves are cut or broken.

Making "The Farm" Ours

Troy has been after me to blog our house adventures. We have lived on family land all our lives, but we finally branched out, broke the cycle, and bought our own slice of heaven. We started this new adventure in February, 2015. We lovingly call it, "The Farm."

The Farm already had a barn. We just had to make it our own. It was very grown up around.

Troy worked diligently, removing the sweet gum trees that have grown up all the way around it.

Looking better!! The inside is full of the previous owners stuff. We focused on land clearing and cleaning.
